This section was my workspace for philosophy essays between July 2006 and April 2008.
I call this "Prehistoric Kilroy" because it gave me practice for more
disciplined essays in Kilroy Cafe. Also see my philophical blog and Twitter feed.
(This is a New and Improved version of
Issue #16, which in turn was
rewritten from an earlier Glossary entry.)

“God, our loving Father, continuously showers love upon us. Love emmanates from God like light from the sun. Evil is rebellion against God and is championed by Satan, who was once an archangel who desired to be like God (to set himself up in competition with God) and got himself and the angels under his authority (who also rebelled with him) thrown out of heaven (the presence of God). Satan attempts to lure humans into rebelling against God also by sending his underlings to plant evil thoughts in their minds. While Satan is not able to emmanate evil in the same manner that God sheds love abroad, Satan does have quite a grip on Hollywood scriptwriters, pulp fiction writers and such who unwittingly (or maybe not) assist Satan and his hordes. This is why 2nd Corinthians 10:5 tells us "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"”
